Jenny Wren Holidays offer cosy and well equipped holiday bungalows in Galmpton, providing you with a comfortable base from which you can explore our beautiful local area. All bungalows have south facing patios with furniture and a parking space close to the property. Most bungalows are dog friendly.
Galmpton is a village near Brixham on the Torbay/South Hams border and the bungalows are on the fringes of the village – a 10 min walk to the pub and shop.We are within easy reach of key attractions and beaches. Brixham, Paignton, Torquay and Dartmouth are all within a few miles. The Greenway Estate, former home of Agatha Christie is just down the road.
Weekly prices are from £290 to £600 with short breaks available from October to June.
We are as flexible as possible with our terms. If there is a lockdown or any travel restriction imposed as a result of Covid-19 we will offer a refund or to move your booking.
We strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance.

We are located on the edge of Galmpton Village which is situated between Brixham and Paignton. Our postal address is Brixham; we are 3 miles from the centre of it.
Yes, all bungalows have an allocated parking space near to the bungalow – the furthest you will walk from car to door is approx 25 metres. There is overflow parking available for any visitors.
Absolutely! All our bungalows allow one dog free of charge. Some owners specify one dog only and some will take 2 small sized dogs. The Brixham area is very dog friendly.
The closest sandy beach with facilities is Broadsands which is just under 1.5 miles from the holiday bungalows. This beach does restrict dogs from May to end September but Elberry Cove close by is dog friendly all year. Goodrington North Sands and St Mary’s Bay are dog friendly all year. You can walk from the bungalows to the shore of Mill Creek in 10 mins (steep at the end).
The nearest bus stop is by the Railway Inn which is approx 15 minute walk. The number 12 runs a good service to Brixham, Paignton and Torquay. (You can buy a weekly parking permit valid in all Torbay car parks @£35 per week.)
Yes, although some owners do close over winter from November to carry out maintenance.

We are a small park and the bungalows are individually owned so there are no facilities actually on site. The neighbouring touring park has a small shop for basics open from Easter to November. There is a village shop, Galleon Stores in the village which is a 10 minute walk. There is also a good butcher and hairdresser as well as the local pub, The Manor Inn. Note, the walk is not flat.
Our deposits are 25% of the total, with a minimum of £100 payable on booking. Your balance is due 6 weeks prior to your holiday start day.
We do our best to look after our customers. If you have to cancel your holiday because of government restrictions relating to Covid-19, we will offer you a full refund or to move your holiday date.
Cancellations for other reasons: If you have paid only the deposit, we will refund this. If you have paid your full balance, we will try our best to re-let the holiday and reimburse you the amount we re-let for. If we do not manage to re-let the holiday you risk losing your payment. It is strongly advised to take out holiday insurance to cover for any unforeseen circumstances.
